Contrary to the common belief that all wines are immediately drinkable, this is not always the case. While supermarket wines are usually only ready to drink for 1 to 3 years, high-quality wines age much longer and reach their peak over time. However, keep in mind that the quality of wine systematically declines after about 20 years. But what always remains is the intrinsic value that the wine represents.
