Southwest

The Southwest wine region in France (le vignoble du Sud-Ouest de la France) is formed by a few small areas between Aurillac and Rodez in the northeast to the Spanish border south of Bayonne. The wine region bordering Bordeaux and east of the Bordeaux wine region is also part of this, which sometimes makes them resemble wines from Bordeaux, but these are exceptions.
